Master's Student (WP2)
Josh Brown is a Master of Science student in the geography department at Memorial University’s St. John’s campus and is co-supervised by Dr. Joel Finnis and Dr. Joe Daraio. Josh’s upbringing on the island instilled him with a lifelong love for exploring his natural surroundings. This passion has been a guiding force in shaping his current educational journey, creating a linkage between his love for nature and the immediate necessity to address, mitigate, and adapt to the challenges arising from climate change. After completing his Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geography at Memorial University, Josh returned to his familiar home in the geography department at Memorial University to pursue his current goals. Josh’s research with FOCI will examine the utilization and effectiveness of climate services in the province, aiming to enhance future usage and identify opportunities for collaboration between climate service users and producers.
