In a scholarly context, book chapters are based on a certain topic or theme within FOCI research written to contribute to larger works brought together in a single book. Edited volumes are integrated collections of chapters about particular topics of novel research or the syntheses of existing research represented by various perspectives. Grey literature is produced by those organizations involved in activities on the ground  including government, non-government and industry.
